Please join the Washington Capital Area Chapter (WCAC) as we participate in the Jingle all the Way 5k charity walk/run, with a chapter member brunch following the race!

The 5k charity walk/run features a flat and fast course that takes participants through the streets of downtown Washington, DC., offering gorgeous views of famous monuments and the Potomac River. Highlights include a jaunt onto the Rock Creek Parkway to pass the Kennedy Center and sightings of the Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and Tidal Basin before hitting the home stretch!

The Start/Finish line for the 5k course is located on 15th Street NW, directly next to the Washington Monument. ICEAA members will meet at 7:45am near the Start line, with a representative holding up a WCAC of ICEAA sign to direct participants to our specific meeting point. Following the race, we will rendezvous at The Smith for a post-5k brunch starting at 10am.

If you would like to opt-out of participating in the 5k however, there is an option to make a direct donation to one of the approved charities listed on the event website here, and come join us for brunch instead!

IMPORTANT: There is NO RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP. Members will need to register/donate BEFORE 12/9 via the event website, and pickup race packets on either 12/9 or 12/10 at Pacers 14th Street location (detailed directions provided here).

 BRUNCH DETAILS:
LOCATION: The Smith is located on the first floor at 901 F Street NW (AT the corner with 9th Street).
 MENU: Click here for weekend brunch menu.
PRICE: Group reservations have a $30 flat rate per person which includes any main dish on the brunch menu (does not include drinks (charged a la carte), taxes, or tip).

RACE PARKING:
Limited street parking is available. Parking is not recommended, however, due to the large volume of race participants near the event location.

 If you plan on being dropped off at the start line, we suggest two locations:

• 15th Street NW and Constitution Ave
• 14th Street NW between Constitution Ave & Independence Ave

 Please remember you will need to allow for time to walk to the start line.

Metro will NOT open early for this event. The nearest metro stations for the race are:

• Smithsonian Station (Orange, Blue & Silver lines)
• Federal Triangle (Orange, Blue & Silver lines)

CLOSEST METRO TO BRUNCH:
